Women’s Philanthropy is headed to Morocco November 5 – 13, 2024!

Join Women’s Philanthropy for an immersive and remarkable journey to discover Morocco through a Jewish lens. Explore its enchanting imperial cities filled with extraordinary marketplaces, traverse magnificently historic Jewish and Muslim sites.

  • Try your hand at authentic cooking and art workshops
  • Visit Marrakech’s famous markets filled with snake charmers, spice peddlers, specialty crafts, and street musicians
  • Explore Ourika Valley and learn about important Jewish contributions to Morocco

Cost & Payment Information

Land Cost: $4,599
Single Occupancy supplement: $700
The Women’s Philanthropy Journey to Morocco welcomes all women who make an annual individual or household gift of $1,800 or more to the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta.

A $500 deposit is required at the time of registration
$2,000 payment is due by July 15, 2024
The remaining balance is due by September 6, 2024

Porterage at hotels

Itinerary At A Glance (Subject to Change)

Day 1 – Depart US
Day 2 – Welcome to Morocco, arrive in Casablanca with an Introduction to The Glory of Jewish Morocco
Day 3 – Casablanca and Marrakech – The Story of Jewish Casablanca and enchanting Marrakech
Day 4 – The beautiful Ourika Valley and Marrakech’s historical Medina and Mellah, followed by a festive Moroccan Shabbat 
Day 5 – Shabbat in Marrakech’s Gardens and Museums, and Havdalah by campfire and sunset camel rides 
Day 6 – Moroccan cultural workshops and a stunning road trip to the city of Fes
Day 7 – Fes, once a center of Jewish life, is filled with Jewish history, inspiring women and world-famous marketplaces
Day 8 – Meknes to Rabat, imperial cities rich with Moroccan history and pilgrimage sites. Rabat, Morocco’s capital, is home to the royal family
Day 9 – Departure for home – filled with wonderful memories and new friendships
