Where will I stay?

On April 17 and 18, participants will stay at the 5-Star Intercontinental Hotel in Tel Aviv—a sleek, seaside high-rise across the street from the Mediterranean Sea. From April 19 to 23, participants will be at the 5 Star David Citadel Hotel, located at the intersection of New and Old Jerusalem with views of the Old City.

What cities will I see?

Our entire group will experience Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Yokneam. Yokneam is a tech industry hub, with the highest concentration of R&D companies outside of Tel-Aviv. “Startup Village,” as it is known, is also Atlanta’s sister city.

But one of the most exciting aspects of this journey is how different everyone’s experiences will be. The nine main itineraries and ten supplemental excursions offer a unique set of travel destinations. Depending on the experiences you choose, you could visit Safed, Jaffa, Abu Ghosh, or Lake Kinneret (the Sea of Galilee).

What are the main itineraries?

This isn’t a one-size-fits-most journey; on this trip, you’ll get to experience the side of Israel that excites you most. Nine curated itineraries will spark your imagination and show you the best the country has to offer.

You will participate in your main itinerary activities on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, but every night we will return to the same hotel. Your itinerary grouping will be your main cohort; it’s a wonderful opportunity to make new friends who share similar interests. If you’re traveling as part of a couple, you might consider picking different itineraries so you can compare your experiences at the end of the day.

The nine main itineraries are:

First Timers

Outdoors

Culinary

Technology & Innovation

Tikkun Olam in Israeli Society

Geopolitics

Arts & Culture

Spirituality

Leisurely Pace

When do I choose my itinerary?

Travelers will select their itinerary at a later date.

What are the excursions?

In addition to your main itinerary, you will also select a supplementary excursion during your trip. These excursions will take place on Thursday and Sunday. Choose an adventure that builds upon the principles of your main itinerary or pick something completely different—the choice is yours!

The ten supplemental excursions are:

Global Leadership

Tradition and Inspiration

MJCCA – Lisa F. Brill Institute of Jewish Learning

First Timers

Outdoors

Culinary

Technology & Innovation

Geopolitics

Arts & Culture

Leisurely Pace
